Workday at the Demonstration Forest

9 - 11 a.m.
On August 10,2002, volunteers worked to spruce up the Demonstration Forest so that it would look great for the start of the school year. We bagged a lot of pooped out poppies (Did you see the show last Spring?) and weeds, picked up litter (ugh!), refreshed the tree signs, raked the trail, enjoyed catching up with tree amigos and even celebrated a birthday. We got the jobs done and had fun thanks to: Jim DeLuca; George Sullivan; Tom and Simone Smith Family; Beverly Gingg; Jerry Spruill; Janice Severn; Robin and Jennifer Szalay; David, Joseph and Thomas Arndt; Dave, Matt and Mark Flynn; and the Cal (Happy Birthday!) and Tami Gunther Family.
