After the summer break, the Demonstration Forest needed a lot of attention so that it would look great for the start of the new school year. A great crew of volunteers worked hard to get the jobs done and make it fun. The DF is beautiful again thanks to these volunteers: David Arndt, Marguerite Costigan, Dave Flynn, Bev Gingg, Terry Sanville, Jack McCabe, Mason and Kellen McCabe, Barbara McGowan, Katrina Sharon, Simone and Justin Smith, and Mark Tomes. Jack McCabe and Barbara McGowan also took on the heavy duty tasks of mowing, weed whacking and then hauling away several loads of debris. Thanks also to Abby Kopp (DF-School Liaison), Theresa Migler and Andrew Von Dollen for providing treats. The next workday will be held on Oct. 14, 9 - 11 AM.
