Our Demonstration Forest was created in 1997 largely through the efforts of volunteers. Materials and coordination were supported by generous local donors and a grant from California ReLeaf/National Urban Forestry Grant Program. The Demonstration Forest now provides practical, educational and aesthetic benefits to the school and the community. The Demonstration Forest is maintained by volunteers and more help is always needed. Inquiries are welcome at info@smcf.org.
