Volunteers gathered at the Demonstration Forest on December 14,2002 to begin construction of the memorial patio. Here you see the first rocks being put into position. Groundbreaking took place during the November 16,2002 workday and memorial gathering with friends and families of Jamie Albee and Katy Tomes. You can help bring the patio and butterfly garden to life by participating in upcoming workdays (Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 8, April 12 and May 10) at the Demonstration Forest and/or by contributing to project fund (est. cost $500 for materials/all labor donated).
